Business Entity & Direct Disclosure:
Please read these standard operating terms carefully before confirming any pressure washing or exterior surface restoration services with Ocean Pressure Washing. These terms outline our mutual responsibilities, site access requirements, and your statutory protections under Queensland and Australian law.
Ocean Pressure Washing provides external surface washing, high-pressure cleaning, soft washing, and driveway sealing services across designated residential and commercial properties. We carry out all cleaning works in a workmanlike manner using industry-rated pressure machinery, compliant biodegradable wash solutions, and surface-specific techniques. The detailed scope of works is limited strictly to the physical surface areas itemised in your written work schedule.
Written quotations remain valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. Estimates prepared remotely via aerial imaging or photographs are provisional: should on-site inspection reveal severe organic contamination, hazardous substrates, drainage deficiencies, or unlisted surface areas, we reserve the right to provide an adjusted quote before commencing work. No additional chargeable tasks will proceed without prior client approval.
The client must ensure unobstructed access to all agreed working areas on the confirmed service date. This includes unlocking gates, securing pets indoors, clearing outdoor furniture, and providing access to an active external mains water tap with standard residential water pressure. If our technicians arrive and cannot access the designated site or water source within 30 minutes, a call-out rescheduling fee may apply.
Pressure washing and soft washing can safely proceed in light to moderate rain. However, severe weather conditions including electrical storms, gale-force winds, torrential downpours, or localized flash flooding present serious workplace health and safety hazards. In such events, Ocean Pressure Washing reserves the right to postpone and reschedule the work to the earliest mutually available date without penalty to either party.
We understand that personal schedules fluctuate. Clients may reschedule or cancel confirmed bookings free of charge by providing at least 24 hours written notice prior to the scheduled booking window. Cancellations submitted with less than 24 hours notice may incur a late cancellation fee of up to $80 AUD to offset route logistics and equipment staging expenses.
Payment is strictly due upon completion of works unless formal written commercial credit terms have been arranged in advance. We accept direct Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and major debit or credit cards. Invoices remaining outstanding past 7 business days will incur a late administrative surcharge of 2.5% per week on overdue balances until settled in full.
Prior to cleaning, thick layers of moss, algae, and grime often mask underlying structural flaws. Ocean Pressure Washing accepts no liability for pre-existing defects uncovered during the wash cycle, including degraded mortar, chipped render, cracked paver bedding, oxidized powder-coated surfaces, loose window caulking, or sun-rotted paintwork. Our technicians will photograph and notify you of any notable pre-existing damage identified on-site.
While our professional equipment achieves substantial visual restoration, deep chemical intrusions cannot always be completely eradicated without damaging the underlying substrate. Deeply penetrated motor oil, transmission fluids, synthetic wood stains, bore water staining, fertilizer burn, and calcium efflorescence may lighten significantly but cannot be guaranteed 100% removable.
We invite property owners or nominated agents to conduct a post-wash walkthrough with our lead operator upon job completion. If you notice any missed sections or irregular coverage within your scheduled scope, we will touch up the area immediately. If the client is not on site at completion, any service inquiries must be submitted in writing within 48 hours.
Our services come with non-excludable guarantees provided under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). Nothing in this agreement purports to exclude, restrict, or modify any statutory consumer guarantee, warranty, or remedy available under the ACL. To the maximum extent permitted by Queensland law, our total liability for minor service defects is limited to resupplying the service or refunding the cost of the affected portion. Ocean Pressure Washing holds comprehensive Public Liability Insurance coverage.

Ocean Pressure Washing reserves the right to review and update these standard agreements periodically to reflect regulatory revisions, technological changes, and operational enhancements. Continued engagement of our services following written or online notification of amended terms constitutes acceptance. This agreement is governed solely by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and both parties submit to the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.
